What a difference a week makes.  Last Friday we were all playing golf with shorts on and yesterday there was snow in the air.  Don't worry, nicer weather is coming!  Starting today the sun is shining and the temperatures warming up.  This weekend looks nice with highs in the mid 50's!

This weekend we will keep the weekend tee times as normal but starting December 10th we will move to our winter hours on the weekends.  The clubhouse and driving range will open at 8 am and the golf course will open at 8:30 am.  As we get closer to March 1, 2012 and the weather begins to warm up I will move back to our normal weekend hours.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving last week and got to spend some needed time with family.  I had a great time with my family.  The kids are so excited about Christmas and this year all three kids are perfect ages.  My 2 year old Emerson is really getting a handle on this great Holiday called Christmas.  Everything she sees she wants from Santa!  I hope his sleigh has extra room!

Talking about Santa don't forget that he will be here on December 10th!  Like past years we will have two seatings (Breakfast & Lunch).  Reservations are going fast so call 754-7241 to reserve your spot.

Also don't forget to purchase your Raffle tickets for a chance to win at the GCC Open House.  On December 18th the place to be is Germantown Country Club for the Christmas Open House!  The wine will be flowing and the food will be out of this world.  Also that evening I will be giving money away in the form of gift cards to be used at GCC!  Last year I gave away $1300 in gift certificates with $500 being the largest amount.  The only way to win is to have your name on one of the tickets.  To make that a reality all you have to do is email, call, or visit me in the golf shop.  The tickets are $5 apiece or 5 for $20 (Best Deal).  You can charge them to your account.  You do not have to be present to win but you want to be at this party!

Winter Guest Rates!

From November 1, 2011 - February 29, 2012 GCC members will be able to bring guests out to play for a reduced fee.  I have reduced the guest fee by $10 so now guests can play 18 holes at the beautiful Germantown Country Club for only $66 including cart.  If your guest happens to be a family member then the rate is even lower with family members playing for $56 including cart!  The golf course will be in great shape all winter long so make sure you book your tee time and take advantage of the discount!

Video Golf Lessons with PGA Professional Keith Penke!
