Happy New Year!  This is the first Get with the "Pro"gram of 2012!  It has been fun this week doing all the firsts.  It is funny how it is just another day but it feels like a new beginning.  2012 is going to be a great year!

2012 started out with a bang with 31 players playing on Sunday!  This was the first time we have had golfers on New Year's Day and it was a lot of fun.  We had a Closest to the flag contest and Pat Beattie (#3) John Sandor (#8) Len Lewin (#12) & Steve Wilensky (#17) were all winners.  Congratulations!

Currently the grill is closed for Spring Cleaning and needed upgrades but the golf course will remain open weather permitting.  The grill will reopen on January 17th.  During those two weeks when the golf course is open there will be a bartender downstairs to serve drinks, premade sandwiches, hot dogs, & soup.  If the weather keeps us from opening the golf course then the clubhouse will be totally closed.

This week and next I will be working on finalizing the 2012 schedule and when complete I will post it on the website.  I look forward to seeing everyone this week with the weather looking Fantastic.  They are saying it will be 64 Friday!  A member just called and said "I like this global warming"!  I like it too!

Winter Guest Rates!

From November 1, 2011 - February 29, 2012 GCC members will be able to bring guests out to play for a reduced fee.  I have reduced the guest fee by $10 so now guests can play 18 holes at the beautiful Germantown Country Club for only $66 including cart.  If your guest happens to be a family member then the rate is even lower with family members playing for $56 including cart!  The golf course will be in great shape all winter long so make sure you book your tee time and take advantage of the discount!

Video Golf Lessons with PGA Professional Keith Penke!
