Can you believe it is Thanksgiving this week?  I am still in shock and can't believe this year is almost over.

After 3 plus inches of rain it looks like the rain is finally moving out.  Currently the golf course and driving range are closed.  We will play the rest of today by ear but will definitely be open tomorrow with the forecast looking promising,

The golf course will be closed on Thanksgiving Day but the clubhouse will be open from 11 am - 2 pm serving a wonderful Thanksgiving feast.  If you have not made your reservations yet please call 754-7241 to do so because space is limited.  Let us do all the work and you just sit back and enjoy your family!

Friday looks like the best day of the week with highs nearing 70 and I am sure the golf course will have dried up by then.  I will be treating Friday like a Saturday and will be opening the clubhouse and range at 7 am.  The golf course and F&B operation will open at 7:30 am.  I am expecting an extremely busy day so please call 754-6453 to make your tee times.  Hopefully by now everyone has received their discounted guest cards so this is a perfect time to use it!

Both Saturday and Sunday we will be open as normal so make plans to play three days in a row it is fun!

Last week was the World Famous Balloon Sale and I would like to Thank everyone that came out and did some shopping.  It was a fun evening and a great start to the holiday season.  We still have an unbelievable selection of merchandise and remember we will wrap your presents for FREE!  Casey and I have already become master wrappers and excited to continue perfecting our craft!

I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys their time with Family and Freinds.  I am looking forward to spending the day with my Family!  I hope to see everyone this week it is going to be great golfing weather!

Memphis Tigers Game Today at 1 pm!

Come to GCC today for lunch and watch our beloved Tigers beat the Tennessee Vols.  Or vice versa for all my Tennessee Fans!  These two teams will be playing for bragging rights in the state.  Should be an epic battle.  We will have the game on in HD and GCC has the best lunch special in Memphis so it sounds like a WIN WIN!  Also it is always 5 o'clock somewhere if a cold beer sounds good!

Christmas Open House Raffle!

On December 18th the place to be is Germantown Country Club for the Christmas Open House!  The wine will be flowing and the Food will be out of this world.  Also that evening I will be giving money away in the form of gift cards to be used at GCC!  Last year I gave away $1300 in gift certificates with the $500 being the largest amount.  The only way to win is to have your name on one of the tickets.  To make that a reality all you have to do is email, call, or visit me in the golf shop.  The tickets are $5 a piece or 5 for $20 (Best Deal).  You can charge them to your account.  You do not have to be present to win but you want to be at this party!

GLGA Ladies Christmas Party!

Winter Guest Rates!

From November 1, 2011 - February 29, 2012 GCC members will be able to bring guests out to play for a reduced fee.  I have reduced the guest fee by $10 so now guests can play 18 holes at the beautiful Germantown Country Club for only $66 including cart.  If your guest happens to be a family member then the rate is even lower with family members playing for $56 including cart!  The golf course will be in great shape all winter long so make sure you book your tee time and take advantage of the discount!

Video Golf Lessons with PGA Professional Keith Penke!
